SovraRAG is a Retrieval-Augmented Generation platform engineered from the ground up on Swiss infrastructure. Every component — AI inference, vector storage, document archive, database — runs exclusively within Switzerland.

We use Infomaniak’s Swiss AI APIs for language model inference and embeddings, Exoscale Geneva for object storage and compute, and apply AES-256-GCM per-tenant encryption before any data touches persistent storage. Your documents are never processed by US-incorporated services.

This makes SovraRAG uniquely suited for Swiss financial institutions, healthcare providers, law firms, and any enterprise subject to FINMA, nDSG, or GDPR data residency requirements.

Dense neural embeddings fused with BM25 sparse vectors via Reciprocal Rank Fusion — then elevated by an entity knowledge graph for multi-hop reasoning across documents. Query routing detects simple, relational, and synthesis queries automatically.

AES-256-GCM encrypts every chunk and archived file with a per-tenant DEK before Qdrant or S3 storage. Even the platform operator cannot read your content without the master key you control.

Per-document access control lists enforced at the vector-search layer. Department segmentation, user-level sharing, and platform-admin oversight — all in one system.
Usage Analytics
Per-user, per-tenant, and platform-wide token consumption tracking. LLM input/output, embedding tokens, and request counts — all visible in the dashboard with period filters.
Encrypted Document Archive
Every uploaded file is AES-256-GCM encrypted with the tenant DEK before upload to Exoscale Object Storage in Geneva. The S3 bucket applies a second envelope layer. Automated daily backups with 1-year retention. Postgres, Qdrant vectors, and original files all backed up to the same Swiss bucket. Downloads are always ACL-checked and decrypted by the app — never served directly from S3.
Query Rewriting
An upstream LLM call normalises, translates, and decomposes every query before retrieval — extracting named entities for graph expansion, detecting enumeration intent, and routing accordingly.
